One of the most noticeable things about these early spring Lily Pads was their wavy stems, which may have been caused by a slight current in the water at this location. Another was the unique position of the pads making them appear attracted to each other like friends. There was a walkway at the location which enabled me to shoot almost directly down at the pads.
