I was doing some Milky Way shots at the Lake of Two River's campground in September when a half dozen young kids (may 10 or 12 years old) and one adult came up to me. They were quite interested in what I was doing so I pointed out the Milky Way to them. I then asked them if they wanted to do an experiment, which they readily agreed to. They all went to the beach and shone their flashlights in the same direction for 30 seconds. This is the result (and the kids were quite happy)
