I was hiking in Cathedral provincial park at the end of September when the larch trees start changing colours from green to gold. I spotted this lone larch tree while hiking around Lake of the Woods. It was a cold day with dark clouds, and I loved the contrast of the gold larch tree in the foreground and the mountains and sky in the background.
