We spotted this beautiful family of Barrow's Goldeneye while kayaking on Lightning Lake at sunrise. At first they were very hard to photograph because they were swimming and feeding. After a few minutes they decided to go rest on this log which was facing the rising sun. I could finally get a photograph of all of them together in focus.
