Northern Pygmy Owl glare

I was off roading some logging roads on Northern Vancouver Island looking for wildlife when I saw this white patch sticking out against the green background. As I approached a little closer I noticed this Northern Pygmy Owl perches on a tree top. These Northern Pygmy Owls are a Swarthi subspecies to the Northern Pygmy Owl on Vancouver Island
