Ovenbird

Ovenbird (Seiurus aurocapilla). I photographed this ovenbird at the Parc du Mont-Royal, in Montréal, Québec. I really like this image because ovenbirds are difficult to photograph. I was walking in the woods when I heard it sing, and I really wanted to capture it. It was difficult because it likes to hang around on the ground, hidden in the bushes. At some point the bird flew up on a branch and I was able to take this photograph.
