Philadelphia Vireo

This small North American songbird is the most northernly breeding species of vireo. This is a bird of the treetops in young deciduous forests and is most obscure as the larger Red Eyed Vireo that is similar in appearance and song is seen more frequently. I was quite happy to see this small pale yellow cutie as it was a first for me.
